Coming up 12/6/10, veteran jazz-rock musicians Michael Bizar, Dan Riley, and John Whoolilerie will be joining Randy Todd onstage at the historic MINT in L.A.. This special night of music in West Los Angeles features several acts hand-picked by promoter Donovan Lyman as part of his Hollowbody LA series. Prepare to be confronted with virtuosic horn and electric guitar solos, groovy, funky upright bass, and soaring vocal melodies you won’t easily forget! The Randy Todd Band includes Bill Stinson playing drums, Dan Riley all over the basses, Michael “Air” Bizar flying electric guitars, and John Whoolilerie rocking the saxes, as well as Santa Monica based singer/songwriter Randy Todd on acoustic guitar and voclas. These Hollowbody events throughout Los Angeles are nights to remember every time, and this should be no exception, especially on the amazing stage of The Mint. Cover at the door is $10, and this show is 21 and over.
The Mint is located at 6010 West Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, 90035, near La Cienega Blvd.
Showtime is 8pm, and Randy Todd and Friends go on at 10:30.
